چکیده

Abstract The deficit irrigation offers water savings potential that is becoming popular in arid and semi-arid regions reducing freshwater use over time. A two-year factorial experiment was conducted to evaluate growth, yield productivity of tomato under the drip furrow method. carried out a split-plot design with as main plot treatments, soil moisture regimes (0, -10, -20, -30 kPa) subplots. Data were collected on growth parameters, physiological traits, tomato. results showed yield, significantly influenced by system regime. -10 kPa regime reduced total input 22.6% 19.8% gave 28% 22% higher fruit yields 2020 2021, respectively, compared system. Plant flowering occurred earlier (3 days) than irrigation. When content kPa, performed better for other improving phenological attributes, thereby, advancing yield. Thus, could reduce through precise irrigation, maximizing productivity.

Response of tomato to irrigation with saline water applied by different irrigation methods and water management stratigies

In a field experiment the effects of irrigation with saline drainage water (seasonal average of 4.5 dS/m) and non-saline water (0.55 dS/m) applied by two different water management strategies (cyclic or blended saline water with non-saline water in different ratios) and two different irrigation methods (drip or furrow) were studied on growth and productivity of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum M...

Responses of agronomic components of rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) as influenced by deficit irrigation, water salinity and planting method

Shortage and salinity of irrigation water are two major constraints that influence rapeseed production in arid and semi-arid regions of central and southern Iran. In this study, effects of deficit irrigation with different salinity levels and planting methods (in-furrow and on-ridge) as strategies for coping with water and salinity stresses on yield and yield quality of rapeseed were invest...
